Indian Ambassador presents credentials to RA President

October 30, Indian Ambassador to Armenia Achal Kumar Malhotra
presented his credentials to RA President Serzh Sargsyan.
`Our nations are familiar with each other for nearly five hundred
years; the present level of relations speaks of no problems in that
period and years experience is useful also today,' RA President said,
RA presidential press service informed NEWS.am. According to RA
President, Armenian community in India is one of the largest and
weighty communities and is not accidental that first Armenian-language
paper was published in India."
The Ambassador pointed out the mutual understanding between the
states. Indian government intends to expand the bilateral and
multilateral ties. He emphasized the crucial role of Armenians in
Indian history as well as their contribution to the local society.
RA President underlined the reinforcement of relations on economic
level.
