ARMENIA, NETHERLANDS DISCUSS BILATERAL RELATIONS: SERZH SARGSYAN

    Tert

    Armenia

The newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Netherlands to
Armenia Pieter Jan Langenberg (residence in Tbilisi) presented his
credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan today.

Congratulating Pieter Jan Langenberg on his appointment, President
Sargsyan stated that Armenia has an interest in strengthening its
relations, in all areas, with the Netherlands.

Sargsyan highly praised the Netherlands' support toward the development
of Armenia's economy since the country's independence, as well as
highlighting the successfully developed cooperation between the two
countries within the World Bank's and International Monetary Fund's
    Dutch Group.

The parties considered the deepening of relations in not only
bilateral, but also multilateral, format as necessary, considering
the EU's Eastern Partnership Project as an important process directed
    to that aim.

Upon the ambassador's request, President Sargsyan presented Armenia's
approaches to the negotiating process on the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict,
as well as issues related to the establishment to Armenian-Turkish
relations, announced the President of the Republic of Armenia press
    office.
