National sambo teams prepare for Championship
Armenian combat and sport sabmo teams will participate in World Sambo
Championship which will be held on November 5-9 in Greece's
Thessalonica, Armenian Sambo Federation reports.
Armenia's sport sambo team includes Vahan Vardanyan (in the 57 kg),
Vahan Hovhannisyan (in the 62 kg), David Khachatryan (in the 68 kg),
and Ashot Danielyan (in the74 kg). Armenia's combat sambo team
includes Vachik Vardanyan (in the 68 kg) and Arsen Khachatryan (in the
100 kg). Vahe Otaryan in the 52 kg will perhaps participate, too.
Armenian delegation headed by Sambo Federation President Levon
Hayrapetyan will leave for Greece on November 2.
