THE BEATEN SOLDIER DIES

Serviceman of the Vayk military unit Aram Lazarian was taken to the
central military hospital of the Ministry of Defense on August 28. The
same day the soldier was operated on and taken to the reanimation
department of the hospital. Aram Lazarian died on September 1,
at 08:05 p.m., Press Service of the Ministry of Defense reports.
According to the Ministry of Defense, a criminal case has been launched
against Captain Andok Galstyan. The latter is accused of beating Aram
Lazarian. Captain Andok Galstyan was arrested on August 29.
The results of the forensic medical examination of the body will be
publicized later. The preliminary investigation is underway.
