The sisters Inga and Anush Arshakyan will not not take part in any
concert in Turkey, the producer, Deputy Director of the Sharm TV
company, Natalyan Ghazanchyan told NEWS.am.
The PR manager Anna Hovhannisyan reported that the company has not
received an official invitation to a concert. She pointed out that the
company terminated its relations with the Turkish side immediately
after the Eurovision-2009 song contest. Hovhannisyan said that some
countries offered cooperation to the sisters, but Turkey was not among
them. "It is ridiculous to speak of concerts, when more serious issues
are on the agenda," she said.
Turkish mass media reported earlier that the singer Hadise, who
represented Turkey at the Eurovision-2009 song contest, in token of
friendship, invited the Arshakyan sisters to give a concert during
a football match between the Armenian and Turkish national teams at
the Ataturk stadium in Bursa, on October 14.
