    MEETINGS WITH NA PRESIDENT AND OTHER HIGH RANKED OFFICIALS

    Yesterday the annual meeting of the RA MFA heading personnel and the
    heads of the diplomatic representatives continued.

    The meetings are held with the Chairman of the RA National Assembly
    Hovik Abrahamyan, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the secretary of
    Armenia's National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan and the RA
    Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan, informs the information and public
    relations department of the RA MFA.

    In his speech the NA Chairman Hovik Abrahamyan presented the
    international activities of National Assembly, the activities of the
    Armenian delegations in the Parliamentary Congresses of international
    organizations and made suggestions for improvement of the cooperation
    between the legislative body and the foreign ministry.

    The Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan made a large speech on the meeting
    presenting the present situation of the Armenian economy, and the
    antieconomic activities realized by the government. He also touched
    upon the prospects of the economic development of Armenia.

    He attached great importance to the establishment of the Pan-Armenian
    Bank and realization of the programs requiring big investments.

    The steps realized by the Armenia's National Security Council were
    discussed with the secretary of the National Security Council Arthur
    Baghdasaryan as well as the improvements in different spheres.

    Hranush Hakobyan touched upon the Armenia - Diaspora cooperation
    process and the activities realized in that area.

    The Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian summed up the meeting with a
    press conference.

    Today the RA Foreign Minister, the deputy minister and the ambassadors
    will leave for Artsakh.
