Addressing the meeting, the Prime Minister briefed those present
on Armenia's current economic status, the government's anti-crisis
action and on the economic impact of the global crisis.

The head of the executive advised that his government's anti-crisis
action is said to be highly efficacious by international experts with
the latter having highlighted the government's focus on infrastructure
and system-building enterprises, support of small and medium-size
    enterprise etc.

Tigran Sargsyan outlined Armenia's development prospects, his
government's approaches to successful foreign market campaigns,
strategic agricultural projects, IT development policies etc.

The Prime Minister indicated that new approaches to success are
needed as old toolkits cannot work in the modern world. The ideology
of the Armenian World stems from the acknowledgement of these
realities. In this regard, the head of the government emphasized
the role of Armenia's National Competitiveness Council, All-Armenian
Bank, securities market, as well as the implementation of sizeable
investment programs. The achievement of all these targets calls for
closer cooperat ion with the diplomatic corps.

In conclusion, Tigran Sargsyan took the opportunity to answer questions
asked by the diplomats in attendance. Noting that efficiency in the
home and foreign policies go hand in hand, the Prime Minister said
to be looking forward to corresponding proposals on their part.
