KRZYSZTOF ZANUSSI LECTURING IN THE "GOLDEN APRICOT" MASTER SCHOOL

Today MasterSchool of Cinema of "Golden Apricot" international film
festival launches the first classes of the 2009-2010. As Harutyun
Khachatryan the director of the festival told the journalists the
classes will be conducted by the Polish Film Director Krzysztof
Zanussi till the 15th of September.
The first experience of the workshops was tried in summer, 2008,
after 5th Yerevan International Film Festival Golden Apricot by Atom
Egoyan. Then it was Iranian prominent film director Abbas Kiarostami,
who arrived in Armenia to hold a workshop. Film directors from Iran,
Turkey, Georgia as well as Armenia, participated in it. And the third
were the masters of the Armenian cinema.
As the press department of the Golden Apricot film festival informed
this year the MasterSchool has announced a new round of entrance
from August 1, for the period starting from September till the summer
of 2010.
>From the 85 application 8 have been accepted.
Usually the Cinema School is having practical classes. It is expected
that the classes of Krzysztof Zanussi will also be in the same way.
The classes of Krzysztof Zanussi are organized by the support of the
Polish Embassy in Armenia. The main sponsor of the festival and the
Cinema School is "VivaCell-MTS" company.
