ARKA

Yerevan
YEREVAN, September 9. /ARKA/. Armenia's constitutional court has found
the convention and the protocol signed by Armenia and Luxembourg's
governments on June 23 in tune with the Constitution.
The governments signed these documents for barring double property
and income taxation and combating tax evasion.
Armenian financial ministry, in its reference submitted to the
constitutional court, finds ratification of the loan agreement
reasonable, while the justice ministry said the agreement contradict
some Armenian laws, but doesn't imply adoption of new ones or amendment
of the laws currently in force.
Luxembourg has not informed Armenia about the passage of all necessary
ratification procedures yet.
