Azerbaijani media reported today that five Armenian soldiers were
killed and three were wounded in an exchange of fire with Azeri
armed forces on Thursday. The exchange reportedly took place in the
Agdam district.
Head of the Information and Propaganda Department of the NKR Ministry
of Defense, Lieutenant Colonel Senor Hasratyan refuted the information.
"The divisions of the Defense Army of Nagorno Karabakh control the
situation both in Aghdam and all along the line of contact, and make
Azerbaijan maintain the cease-fire established between the parties 15
years ago. As for the reports on the five killed and three wounded,
it is nothing more that the recurrent manifestation of the "bright"
imagination of Baku's official propaganda machine," Senor Hasratyan
told "Radiolur"
