KARABAKH WELCOMES APPOINTMENT OF NEW US MEDIATOR

Yerevan, 10 September: The foreign ministry of the [self-styled]
Nagornyy Karabakh republic (NKR) made a statement today in connection
with Robert Bradtke's appointment as the American co-chairman of the
OSCE Minsk Group.
As Mediamax was informed at the NKR foreign ministry's press service,
the statement, in particular, reads: "The NKR foreign ministry
states its readiness to continue working with the OSCE Minsk Group
co-chairmen, in particular, with Robert Bradtke, for achieving a
peaceful and fair solution to the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict.
"We hope that the appointment of the experienced diplomat,
Robert Bradtke, as the US co-chairman of the OSCE Minsk Group
testifies that the USA will continue paying serious attention to the
Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict settlement process and will promote
the restoration of the negotiations' full format in order that this
process can advance and have positive results."
