    Armenian development bank introduces new service


    YEREVAN, September 12, /ARKA/. The Armenian Development Bank (ADB) has
    announced introduction of a new distant Internet bank service, a press
    release posted on the bank's official website said.

    The new system allows bank's customers to make use of its major
    services from any country of the world with access to Internet. The new
    system, unlike the Bank-Client system, does not require special
    software back up. What is needed is access to Internet and a special
    device provided by the bank.

    The press release said the new system has been designed both for
    individual and corporate customers.

    Its specific features are a wide range of services, high level safety,
    accessibility to people speaking Armenian, Russian and English.

    Corporate clients (heads, chief accountants and other users) are
    provided with special identification devices and can use various
    reference books (BIC Directory of Armenian banks and currencies and BAN
    and RUR6 standards.

    The Armenian Development Bank provides its clients with Digipass 270
    and Digipass GO3 devices free of charge. The monthly service rate for
    individuals is 2000 and 1,500 drams, depending on the type of the
    device and 5,000 Drams for corporate clients.

    Six thousand and 12,000 Drams are charged for a new password depending
    on the device type.

    The Armenian Bank of Development was founded in 1990. Until 1996 it
    acted under the name of Bank of Reconstruction and Development. -0-
