The Armenian Revolutionary Federation started a sit-in today in front
of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Government.
Fifteen days have passed since the Armenian-Turkish protocols were
signed.
However, there have been neither political consultations, nor
discussions.
What could this indifference mean?
Dashnaktsutyun has chosen this way to urge the society to join them
and say no to the protocols in their current form and to make the
authorities understand that political consultations are necessary.
ARF has already presented its own suggestions regarding the content
of the protocols. According to Kiro Manoyan, Head of the Armenian
Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Bureau's Hay Dat and Political Affairs
Office, the main concerns are connected with the recognition of the
current Armenian-Turkish border and the establishment of a historical
sub-committee to investigate the archives.
