EUROPEAN COMMISSIONER FOR ENERGY: NO TALKS ABOUT ARMENIA'S INVOLVEMENT IN NABUCCO PROJECT ARE CONDUCTED

Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Armenia's plans to accede to gas pipeline project
Nabucco will hardly be realized.
Today in Baku European commissioner for energy Andris Piebalgs has
stated that no talks about Armenia's participation in the project
are being conducted.
"I am aware quite well of the course of this project realization,"
Mr. Pielbalgs said.
Armenia has recently expressed a hope that when settling relationships
with Turkey in 2009 Nabucco gas pipeline can change its route and
run through Armenia by-passing Georgia.
