Federation Karen Khachatryan died in a car accident near Erzincan
(Erznka), Turkey, Armenian Hockey federation informed NEWS.am.
The accident occurred on Erzincan-Erzurum highway. Georgian SUV
Toyota collided with a passenger bus heading Istanbul. All passengers
in Toyota died at the scene. President of Ice Hockey Federation of
Armenia Karen Khachatryan (41), his spouse Gayane Khachatryan (40),
their son Levon Khachatryan (18), Vice president of Georgian Ice Hockey
Association Denis Davidov (40), General-Secretary Lasha Tsagareishvili
(41) and his spouse Teo Berdzenishvili (42) were among the victims.
