    15 CHARITABLE PROJECTS DISCUSSED AT ARMENIAN GOVERNMENT

    YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 15, NOYAN TAPAN. 15 charitable projects were
    discussed during the September 11 sitting of the commission for
    the coordination of charitable projects of the RA government. In
    particular, the commission discussed and approved the following
    projects: Hayastan All-Armenian Fund's the Organization of a Milk
    Purchase Point at the School in Azatamut Village of Tavush Marz,
    and the Design of the Internal Irrigation Network of Border Villages
    in Tavush Marz; the Purchase of Bazalt Blocks for Construction of
    a Church in Yerevan's Erebuni District, and the Implementation of
    Reconstruction of Heating, Water Supply and Sewerage Systems in the
    Treasure House implemented by the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin;
    the Strengthening of the National Program on the Fight against
    Tuberculosis - by the RA Ministry of Health; and the 3rd stage of
    the Project on Construction of the New Subsidiary Building of the
    Matenadaran implemented by the Matenadaran Fund.

    The commission also discussed and approved World Vision
    International-sponsored projects: on partial repairs of the preparatory
    school No 4 in Sarahart district in the city of Kapan of Syunik marz,
    on repairs of the lavatory at school No 8 in Tsgharshik district in
    the city of Kapan of Syunik marz, on construction of a playground in
    Artsvanik district in Syunik marz, on the installation of playgrounds
    at kindergartends in the villages of Sarukhan, Lanjaghbyur and
    Tsovazard in Gavar region of Gegharkunik marz, on the import and
    free distribution of humanitarian cargo in Alaverdi region, on the
    purchase of playgrounds for Yazdan and Hobarz communities in Lori marz,
    and the organization of Christian summer camps for children of the
    villages of Gandzak, Tsakhkashen, Sarukhan, Lanjaghbyur, Gegharkinik,
    Berdkunk, Hayravan and Tsovazard in Gavar region of Gegharkunik marz.

    Among the issues put on the commission's agenda and approved at the
    sitting were also "Otevan" Christian Youth Association-implemented
    project on making and installation of windows at the college in
    the city of Goris in Syunik marz and the project on import and free
    distribution of goods by New Life Armenia Fund.
