ARMENIA: NOT OPTIMISTIC WEATHER FORECAST FOR SEPTEMBER'S SECOND HALF

/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Late September promises to be rainy in Armenia,
Zaruhi Petrosyan , representative of the Armenian Meteorological
Service under the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations told a press
conference today.
According to her, the cyclone is moving from the west towards
Armenia. Rain is expected throughout the country, as well as thunder
and strong winds (up to 29 m/sec). In the daytime the temperature will
drop to +20 - +22 C °, on flat terrain - up to +24 - +25 C °. These
weather conditions will last between September 20 and 27. Between
September 20 and 23 the lowest temperature of the month will be
observed. However, she stressed that such weather conditions will
not harm the agricultural business.
Zaruhi Petrosyan recalled that this year the summer months' temperature
was below normal by 1 - 2 °.
According to Zaruhi Petrosyan, the temperature is expected within
normal range in October, freeze is expected in the highlands.
