INTERESTING DISCUSSION ELABORATED OVER NORMALIZATION PROCESS OF ARMENIAN-TURKISH RELATIONS

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 17, ARMENPRESS: Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan
invited the leaders of the political parties to a consultation on
the current round of normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations
and an interesting discussion has been elaborated, spokesman for
the president Samvel Farmanyan told the reporters, informing that
invitations have been sent to heads of 64 parties functioning in
Armenia, of which 52 are participating in the consultation. Armenian
Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan is also taking part in it.
Farmanyan assures that all the participants of the consultation had
an opportunity to express their viewpoints and suggestions.
This is the third thematic discussion on the initiative of the
president with the participation of leaders of political forces: the
previous two referred to the Nagorno Karabakh conflict regulation issue
and mechanisms for smoothing the impact of global financial-economic
crisis.
