(AP) Turkey's prime minister says the nations of the world should
solve their problems based on peace and trust rather than threats.
Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan (RAY'-sep TAH'-yip ERHD'-gahn)
spoke Wednesday at Princeton University.
The prime minister said the European Union has not played fair by
making Turkey wait 50 years _ so far _ to join the group.
Advertisement He also said that the country hopes to normalize
relations with Armenia through mediation by Switzerland.
And he said that Armenia's president should attend a soccer game in
Turkey between the two nations next month without conditions.
Armenian President Serge Sarkisian has said he'll only go if there's
progress in opening the border.
