Deputy FM Ghazinyan, Amb. Semneby discuss Armenia-EU cooepartion

Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Karine Ghazinyan received the EU
Special Representative for the South Caucasus, Peter Semneby
accompanied by the head of the EU delegation in Armenia, Raul de
Luzenberger, and the Lithuanian Ambassador to Armenia, Gedrus Apuokas,
who represents the EU Swedish Presidency.
Attaching great importance to the EU Eastern Partnership Initiative,
Karine Ghazinyan voiced hope that it would give new impetus to the
cooperation between Armenia and the European Union, as well as the
multilateral cooperation between the countries of the region.
During the meeting Mrs. Ghazinyan and Ambassador Semneby discussed
issues related to different spheres of Armenia-EU cooperation.
At the request of the guest, the Deputy FM presented Armenia's stand on
the recent developments in the normalization of the Armenian-Turkish
relations and the settlement of the Karabakh conflict.
