/PanARMENIAN.Net/ Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan met with
Mr. Roland Ziller, First Vice-President of KfW Bank (Germany), the
RA government's information center said.
The Prime Minister thanked the German government and the KfW Bank for
support and responsiveness to Armenia's needs. Bilateral cooperation
was said to have been quite successful so far. "Years of cooperation
proved that very good results can be achieved," he said.
The parties have stressed the importance of the KfW-supported programs
in Armenia, which seek to develop the domestic mortgage market, local
communities and the energy sector. Tigran Sargsyan indicated that the
Armenian government shares in the Bank's focus on the welfare-related
problems faced up in the disaster zone.
Mindful of the need for ensuring program continuity, the Prime Minister
wished the Bank every success in its future commitments and assured of
his government's readiness to promote mutually beneficial cooperation
as much as possible.
