HAKOB HAKOBIAN WILL RUN FOR OFFICE AGAIN IN UPCOMING ELECTIONS

The elections scheduled to take place in Sasun Mikaelian and Hakob
Hakobian's previous electoral districts will be quite noteworthy,
particularly in electoral district N 8, where Hakob Hakobian is going
to announce his candidacy again.
Yesterday was the deadline for nominations for electoral districts
N 25 and N 8, where new elections were announced.
In electoral district N 8, three candidates had announced their
candidacy: Hakob Hakobian, Armenian Head Marxist Davit Hakobian and
independent Koryun Nahapetian. Though Nahapetian is independent, he
was nominated by the Republican Party of Armenia, electoral district
N 8 chair Oleg Grigorian told Tert.am.
According to the Central Electoral Commission press office, there were
four nominations at electoral district N 25: Mkhitar Harutyunian for
Prosperous Armenia Party, ex-chair of the sport base in Tsakhgadzor,
and independents Artur Hovhannisian, Mher Hayrapetian and Mushegh
Harutyunian.
The election is scheduled for December 6, 2009.
