FM NALBANDYAN MEETS WITH U.S. SECRETARY OF STATE

Yerevan (Yerkir) - Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandyan had
a meeting on September 28 with the U.S. Secretary of State Hillary
Clinton.
Clinton mentioned that the Armenian-American ties are comprehensive,
embracing and have deep roots. She expressed readiness on behalf of
American Administration to continue comprehensive cooperation with the
Armenian president and government. She also hailed Armenia's efforts
to normalize ties with Turkey and confirmed America's position that
those ties should not be based on preconditions.
