IMMORAL TO SPEAK ABOUT WAR: ALEXANDER ARZUMANYAN

There should be no talks on the possible resumption of war between
Armenia and Azerbaijan; that will be a tragedy, Armenia's former
foreign minister Alexander Arzumanyan told Tert.am.
"We won in war, and we don't want our offspring to walk down that path
[that path of war, that is] too," he said.
According to Arzumanyan, everything should be done so that there will
be no war.
"That means to establish order in the army, to create a normal country
with whom others will settle [that is, who will be an equal partner],
and not sit and guess whether there will be a war or not. That,
I am deeply convinced, is an immoral approach," said Arzumanyan.
In his words, Armenia has been victorious in war and today, at the
negotiating table, Armenia's diplomatic approach should be that of
one who has been victorious.
"If these authorities can't [do it], let them resign and not threaten
the people with the possibility of war," concluded Arzumanyan.
