Turkish Education Minister Nimet Cubukcu on Wednesday said the
government was working on a plan for schooling of the children of
alien families living in Turkey illegally.
Cubukcu said the current laws did not allow illegal alien children
to attend schools.
"But we are working on an arrangement that would allow schooling
for children with unidentified legal status from Armenian descent or
others," Cubukcu said when responding to a question at the parliament.
