Karapetyan said if Armenia's male citizens under 45 are rejected a
visa, they should apply to relevant police bodies or send an inquiry
to a member of parliament.
"Rumors that men under 45 are not issued exit visas are disseminated
by forces, which are interested in spreading panic among the society,"
he told a press conference in Yerevan.
In case of visa refusal, Mr. Karapetyan advised to apply to relevant
police bodies or send an inquiry to a member of parliament. "Moreover,
ARFD parliamentary group is going to discuss this issue during the
upcoming NA session," he said.
"The circulated rumors that Armenia's male citizens under 45 are not
allowed to leave the country are untrue," a reliable source told a
PanARMENIAN.Net correspondent. "Such problems may arise only if state
of emergency is announced," the source said.
