/PanARMENIAN.Net/ "At the moment the coalition government in Armenia
is in hard condition and needs change," Hrayr Karapetyan , chairman of
the RA NA Standing Committee on Defense, Internal Affairs and Security,
MP from ARF Dashnaktsutyun group told a news conference in Yerevan.
According to Mr. Karapetyan, both the people and country's leadership
are dissatisfied with the socio-economic policy of the government.
"A half-hearted socio-economic measures, like slight increase in
pensions and benefits are not adequate to the current situation in
the country, so the government's economic policies are not relevant
to the current realities in the country," he said.
He said, the president of Armenia must take radical measures to improve
the situation, otherwise the country may undergo great social shakes.
Answering a question of PanARMENIAN.Net, whether ARF would require the
government's resignation if the economic situation in the country does
not improve in the future, Mr. Karapetyan stressed, the resignation
of the government cannot solve anything, the policy and the political
course of the executive should be changed.
