ARMENIA HANDS OVER AZERBAIJANI PRISONER OF WAR RAFIQ HASANOV

ArmInfo. An Azerbaijani prisoner of war Rafiq Hasanov, captured
in 2008, will be handed over to representative of the Azerbaijani
party on April 7 at 12:00 am on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, in
Yeraskhavan-Sadarak region, Armenian Defense Ministry press service
reports. To recall, a soldier of the Azerbaijani AF Rafiq Hasanov
passed to the Armenian party on October 8, 2008, on his own free will.
Hasanov has repeatedly claimed that he did not wish to return to
Azerbaijan. The prisoner of war was multiply visited by employees of
ICRC Yerevan delegation, who maintained the correspondence between
Hasanov and his relatives.
