Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian today confirmed that a
meeting between the Presidents of Armenia and the United States was
scheduled to be held on the sidelines of the Global Nuclear Security
    Summit in Washington.

"I can confirm that Obama-Sargsyan meeting will be held in Washington.

As you know, recently a high-level political dialogue has been
established between Armenia and the US. We are confident that the
forthcoming meeting between Armenian and US Presidents will give
a new impetus to bilateral relations," Nalbandian said at a joint
press conference with the Secretary General of the International
Organization of the Francophonie Abdou Diouf.

As to the meeting with the Turkish Prime Minister, no arrangement has
been made to date, Nalbandian said. "I can say that presently Turkish
Foreign Minister Deputy Undersecretary Feridun Sinirlioglu is on a
visit to Yerevan and will meet with RA President and myself," he added.

Commenting on ANC leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan's statement that Serzh
Sargsyan is ready to gift five regions to Azerbaijan, leaving all other
matters of principle uncertain, including the status of Karabakh,
Nalbandian said: "Not only Armenia, but also OSCE MG Co-Chairs
realize that the paramount issue is the status of Nagorno Karabakh,
the recognition of Karabakhi people's right to self-determination,"
    he stressed.
