COMMISSION TO BE SET UP FOR ACCEPTANCE OF CONSTRUCTION WORK OF YEREVAN POWER UNIT WITH COMBINED GAS AND STEAM CYCLE

YEREVAN, APRIL 8, NOYAN TAPAN. A commission will be set up for
acceptance of the construction work of the Yerevan power unit with
the combined gas and steam cycle. Deputy Minister of Energy and
Natural Resources Levon Shahverdian said at the April 8 sitting of
the government that by the government decision, commissions shall
accept construction work of especially dangerous and technically
complex facilities. It is planned to finish the construction of the
Yerevan power unit with the combined gas and steam cycle in April.
The construction of the power unit has been done under the credit
agreement signed between the Armenian government and the Japan Bank
for International Cooperation (JBIC) on 29 March 2005.
