OSCE MINSK GROUP CO-CHAIRS ARRIVE PROMPTLY TO REGION OF ARMENIAN-AZERBAIJAN CONFLICT

The co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group (settlement of
Armenian-Azerbaijan Nagorno Garabagh conflict) are likely to activate
their shuttle diplomacy.
Vladimir Dorokhin, the Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan, has claimed
that the visit of the co-chairs to the region will take place this
month.
"This visit is going to be the last for the Russian mediator Yury
Merzlyakov as MG co-chair. Another diplomat will be appointed instead
of him," he said.
Earlier this month Armenia in fact declined from Madrid principles of
settlements which allegedly backed earlier and continues occupation
of 20% of Azerbaijani territory.
