"HEALTH AND WELLNESS FEVER" REACHES QUEENS!
QUEENS, NY -- Whether you had the flu already or not, one thing is for
sure -- you will soon experience the /'Health and Wellness Fever'. /So
claim the more than 40 medical health professionals organizing as a
public service HEALTH EXPO 2010, which is to be held on Sunday, April
18, 1-6 p.m., at the St. Sarkis Armenian Apostolic Church at 38-65
234^th Street in Douglaston, Queens.
Whether you seek to improve your health or reduce health-care costs, you
will most likely find the right answers at HEALTH EXPO 2010.
Featuring FREE SCREENING TESTS, MINI-LECTURES ON CURRENT HEALTH ISSUES,
WELLNESS LITERATURE, this health fair includes among others the active
participation and support of two renowned MAJOR LOCAL HOSPITALS: ST.
FRANCIS HOSPITAL-ROSLYN and NORTH SHORE UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL-SYOSSET, as
well as more than 40 health professionals and other health organizations.
The free testing and counseling will include blood pressure measurement,
blood oxygen and sugar levels evaluation, spinal analysis, foot exams,
eye test, oral cancer screening, children's health issues, nutritional
counseling, pain and stress management counseling, basic life support
demo, women's health issues, etc.
HEALTH EXPO 2010 will also include a series of mini-lectures by medical
doctors and health professionals on current health topics such as: high
blood pressure, vascular health, back pain, eye diseases, pain
management, common foot problems, suicide prevention, dental implants,
strokes, juvenile diabetes, cancer screening, women's health issues,
colon cancer screening, and plastic surgery.
Finally, ample information and literature will also be available on
prevention, recognition and treatment of a myriad of health issues.
All members of the community at large are urged to take full advantage
of this public service program. Admission is free.
