Rosselkhoznadzor to permit dairy imports from Armenia, Kazakhstan
MOSCOW April 8
Rosselkhoznadzor will permit the import of milk and dairy products
from Armenia and Kazakhstan effective April 15.
The list of enterprises with the right to export their production to
Russia was confirmed on April 7. They include eight enterprises in
Armenia and five in Kazakhstan.
The Armenian enterprises are CJSC Ashtarak Kat, Dustr Marianna LLC,
Tamara LLC, Elit Shant LLC, Grant Kendi LLC, Biokat LLC, CJSC Elola
and Dili LLC. The Kazakh enterprises are FoodMaster Trend, FoodMaster
Aceptik, Dep, Vostok-Moloko and Istok-1.
Dairy imports from Armenia and Kazakhstan were restricted due to a
difficult epizootic situation, including outbreaks of African swine
fever in the Transcaucasus and cases of hoof-and-mouth disease in
Kazakhstan.
The enterprises that can now export product to Russia have provided
guarantees they will comply with Russian food safety requirements.
