The Armenian chess players in Dubay
The Grand Masters Gabriel Sargsyan, Tigran Kotanjyan and Hrant
Melkumyan in the open held in Dubai gained 3.5 points and are behind
the leading Grand Master Ehsan Ghaem with a half point (Iran).
Yesterday there was a free day for the tournament but today the chess
players will again sit in front of the chess desks, the Armenian Chess
Federation informs.
Lia Martirosyan awarded as a Woman Master of FIDE
The International Chess Federation of FIDE awarded chess player Lia
Martirosyan with a title of Woman Master. The Armenian Chess
Federation informs. We congratulate our newly awarded Master and wish
her bigger success.
