ArmInfo. Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and
Gambians Abroad of the Republic of Gambia Ousman Jammeh promised in
Baku 'to defend fair voice of Azerbaijan at the international arena'.
As APA reported, over the visit the Gambian delegation visited the
genocide mass grave in Guba and were informed about the cruel massacres
allegedly committed by Armenians there in 1918. The visitors saw the
human skeletons with signs of atrocities and tortures committed by
Armenians against the peaceful residents of Guba, who became victims
of genocide.
The Gambian officials under an impression of what they had seen, said
they would put forward an initiative to defend fair voice of Azerbaijan
at the international arena. Minister Ousman Jammeh told APA that he
was shocked with what he saw. "I heard about the genocide mass grave,
but I was shocked when I saw it. Such barbarism against the humanity
is unacceptable. We are always ready to defend Azerbaijan's fair voice
at the international arena. Gambia will further support Azerbaijan
at UN"- he said.
We hope that respectful Ousman Jammeh for preserving balance in his
statements will also find in the Internet the information about the
Armenian pogroms in Azerbaijan and will visit Armenia to see the
exposition of the Armenian genocide Museum-Institute.
