The Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America¸ under the
auspices of His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate, is
pleased to announce that they will be hosting "An Introduction to the
Armenian Dramatic Arts Alliance (ADAA) - - - Celebrating Armenian
Victory and Creativity" on Tuesday, April 27, 2010, at 7:00 p.m. at
the Western Diocese, located at 3325 North Glenoaks Boulevard in
Burbank, California.
The evening will feature celebrity Armenian actors performing
theatrical scenes based on inspiring Armenian oral histories; an
overview of ADAA's programs assisting Armenian writers and filmmakers;
and testimonials from artists whom ADAA has assisted. Guests will
enjoy a reception with live music and traditional Armenian
appetizers. The event is by invitation only and guests will have an
opportunity to meet with the talented actors and artists and become
acquainted with the excellent work being done by the dedicated members
of ADAA.
His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian stated "This is an occasion
for the members of the Armenian community to learn about ADAA's
mission and to witness first hand the talent of our Armenian
artists. The future of the Armenian people will be greatly helped by
the vision and voices of these gifted Armenian actors who are
dedicated to communicating the Armenian story to the world."
