KOCHARYAN, TER-PETROSYAN AND SARGSYAN SHOULD REACH POLITICAL CONSENSUS: ARMAN MELIKYAN

13.04.10
When it comes to the domestic political situation in Armenia, it
needs a change in generations of political figures, and in the near
future success will be with that political power, which realizes
it sooner than others, former Foreign Minister of the Republic of
Nagorno Karabakh, Arman Melikyan, said at a press conference today
in reference to the current domestic situation in Armenia.
"The country is getting drowned in falsifications," said Melikyan,
adding that in an attempt to justify itself each political power is
saying its own version of truth, and the country is in the meanwhile
getting drowned in falsification.
According to Melikyan today the president in office Serzh Sargsyan,
as well as the former two presidents of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan
and Robert Kocharyan, should reach an internal political consensus,
which, unfortunately, they are not ready to do.
While speaking about the possibility of overthrowing the ruling
authorities, Melikyan said that he was against what he called "an
overthrowing of authority in the street."
