TURKISH PM HOLDS MEETINGS IN WASHINGTON

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan held a trilateral meeting
with French President Nicolas Sarkozy and German Chancellor Angela
Merkel in Washington on the sidelines of Global Nuclear Security
Summit.
Turkish PM had a 1-hour meeting with the Chairman of the U.S Senate
Foreign Relations Committee John Kerry at The Willard InterContinental
Hotel. After the meeting Kerry told the journalists that Armenia-Turkey
relations were not on the agenda. The officials touched upon Turkey's
significant role in Afghanistan, as well as developments related to
Israel, Palestine and Syria.
Thereafter, before attending the summit, Erdogan was welcomed by U.S.
President Barack Obama at Convention Center Hotel in Washington.
Turkish Premier also held short meetings with Presidents of South
Korea, Kazakhstan, Brazil, as well as Prime Ministers of Norway,
Italy, Argentina and Pakistan.
Erdogan-Obama meeting is scheduled on April 13.
