ArmInfo. The availability of Armenian-Turkish Protocols implies a
deadlock situation in normalization of the relations between the two
countries, Larisa Alaverdyan, an Armenian parliamentarian from the
Heritage Party faction, said at today's press conference.
"Heritage has always said this, and our position has not changed.
Ratification of the Protocols has reached a deadlock, the Protocols
themselves are already a deadlock",- she said. Alaverdyan also thinks
that the discrepancies between Ankara and Baku in the matter of
relations with Armenia are a thoroughly worked out staging, which
is convenient for the tandem. "I respect the Armenian analysts,
nevertheless, I should say that the statements of some of the
analysts saying that Baku imposes its own conditions on Turkey and
disturbs it to establish a dialogue with Yerevan are naive. The
anti-Turkish hysteria of Azerbaijan is used by Ankara as a tool to
evade responsibility for ratification of the Protocols",- concluded
the parliamentarian.
