April 13, RA President Serzh Sargsyan met U.S. Secretary of State
Hillary Clinton on the sidelines of Global Nuclear Security Summit
in Washington.
The officials discussed the prospects of Armenia-Turkey normalization
process, RA Presidential press service informed NEWS.am. Clinton
reaffirmed President Obama's call to make every effort to advance
the Armenia-Turkey normalization process without any preconditions.
Sargsyan and Clinton also referred to Armenia-U.S. relations, as well
as issues related to Karabakh conflict peaceful settlement within
OSCE Minsk Group.
The same day RA President met with U.S. Congressman Adam Schiff and
thanked him for the active efforts into the recognition of Armenian
Genocide by U.S. Congress, as well as contribution to Armenia and
Nagorno-Karabakh.
