Armenian delegation headed by National Assembly Speaker Hovik
Abrahamyan will attend funeral services of Polish President Lech
Kaczynski, killed in a plane crash on April 10, diplomatic sources
informed NEWS.am.
As reported previously, April 10, Tu-154 aircraft heading from Warsaw
to Smolensk with Polish President Lech Kaczynski crashed 300-400 meters
away from air-strip of Severniy military airport in Smolensk region,
Russia. Onboard were Polish President Lech Kaczynski, his spouse Maria
Kaczynska, and other high ranking officials. According to recent data,
there were 96 people aboard.
World leaders, including Presidents of U.S., France, Germany, Italy,
Czech Republic and others will pay tribute to Polish President's
memory. According to unofficial data, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev
will also travel to Poland.
The mourning ceremony will be held on April 17. President Lech
Kaczynski and his wife Maria Kaczynska will be buried at Krakow's
Wawel Cathedral.
