ARMENIA-RUSSIAN INNOVATION COOPERATION CENTER TO OPEN

Numerous officials, including Armenia's Minister of Economy,
Russia's Envoy to CIS states, Russia's Ambassador to Armenia and
other high-ranked persons, will gather together to participate in
the Forum of the Armenia-Russian Innovation Cooperation Center, which
will take place on April 15 to 17 in Armenia's capital at the Sport&
Concert Hall after Karen Demirchian.
The Forum's key objective is to contribute to the economical
cooperation and strengthening of the innovation basis and relations
between the two nations. A Memorandum on Opening the Armenia-Russian
Innovation Cooperation Center will be signed between Ministry of
Economy of Armenia and the Rossotrudnichestvo Federal Agency of
Russia. The parties have agreed to cooperate in the sphere of
establishment of the inter-state innovation structure, to hold
joint seminars, conferences and consultations; they agreed to
share information and contribute to opening of joint Armenia-Russia
enterprises in two countries.
Within the presentation of Yamal-12K Pilot Project, related to the
space communication technologies, a video-conference with Russia's
cities of Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Tomsk will be held.
