Paul Krekorian, Council President Eric Garcetti, and others, will
commemorate the 95th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide on April 23.

During the event Paul Krekorian and Eric Garcetti will honor
97-year-old Michael Hagopian, a survivor of the Genocide and founder of
the Armenian Film Foundation. He has dedicated his life to the visual
documentation of the Turkish extermination of 1.5 million Armenians in
1915. In all, his work encompasses nearly 400 interviews of survivors.
