Sanctions against Iran will be adopted, but they will not refer to the
energy field. Thus, the Armenian-Iranian cooperation will not suffer
from it, Iranologist Sevak Sarukhanyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.
Commenting on Turkey's objection to application of sanctions against
Iran, he noted that it is related to improvement in the two countries'
relations recently. "Turkey is also going to implement a nuclear
program and possibly it will tread in Iran's steps," said Sarukhanyan.
According to him, application of sanctions against Iran will not
anyhow affect the region.
