RAU RECEIVES BOOKS OF RUSSIAN HOUSE AFTER ALEKSANDR SOLZHINITSIN AS A GIFT

ArmInfo. The presentation ceremony of the books given by Russian House
after Solzhinitsin to the Russian-Armenian (Slavonik) University took
place in the university on 16 April.
The total of 300 books are about history, philosophy, fiction
literature, Russian language textbooks, etc. 'We hope these books
will be interesting to the students and teachers of your university,
to everybody interested in the history of Russia and Russian culture',
- deputy director of the Russian House V.Ugarov said.
The rector of the RAU, Armen Darbinyan, thanked for the gift and said
that RAU, as a Russian university in Armenia, is like an "embassy"
of the Russian spirit, Russian idea and Russian language.
