"Armenia-Turkey dialogue is not a sprint, i.e. a 100 meter-long race,
that can be get over all in the same breath, but rather a marathon,
as there is a knot of century-old disagreements, conflict and enmity
here," Prosperous Armenia Party deputy Aram Safaryan said at a press
conference today.
His comments come amid statements made by the Turkish side which
are getting more and more frequent these days ahead of April 24,
the commemoration day of the Armenian Genocide in the last days of
the Ottoman Empire in 1915.
According to Safaryan the Armenian side should be able to overcome
all the stage of this 'marathon' with dignity and without any defeat.
