ARMENIAN RULING PARTY MEMBERS ENGAGE IN CRIMINAL SHOOTOUT NEAR THE STRIPCLUB IN YEREVAN

On April 17th, at the "Crazy Horse" stripclub in Yerevan, near the
Military Academy a big criminal showdown took place.
Most of who took part in the showdown were the residents of Yerevn.
Some of them, reportedly, were from the "Prosperous Armenia" party.
Police reacted quickly, and when arrived at the scene, managed to
disarm the participants. According to preliminary data, there were
gunshots, but no casualties were reported. As of totals, there were
nearly 40 people at the scene.
After a search which was conducted right on the spot, police found and
seized a large quantity of firearms, ammunition, knives, etc. About
40 people were arrested and taken to the police station.
At this point, police does not report any details of the incident, but
reportedly, most of the participants were from the Armenian criminal
world, and the whole brawl started due to territory dispute. There
is also information, that against the members of "Prosperous Armenia"
party stood the members of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia.
