ARMENIA'S EXPORT INCREASED BY 60.9% IN 2010 FIRST QUARTER

Armenia's foreign trade turnover totaled $1 billion during the first
quarter of 2010 that is 29% higher as compared with the same period
of last year.
The RA National Statistical Service reported that 15.4% growth was
recorded in the trade turnover in March as compared with February.
At the same time, export reached $198.5mln in January-March 2010
that is 60.9% higher as compared with the same period of last year,
while import increased by 23.1%, making $814.2mln.
The negative balance of foreign trade totaled $615.7mln.
