The Armenian youth boxing team continues preparation for 2010 world
championship to be held in Baku.
The team held the last training in Tbilisi. Secretary General of the
Armenian Boxing Federation Lev Oganesyan said the world championship
to be held in the neighbor country has been put off for two days.
The championship was to start on April 23 but due to the volcanic
eruption in Iceland, most of the participants of the contest will be
unable to reach Baku in a fixed term. Thus, the world championship
will start on April 25.
As for the youth team of Armenia, it will leave for Baku today. The
date of departure to Azerbaijan may change, but they will participate
in the contests.
This contest will play trips to the junior 2010 Olympic Games to be
held in Singapore in August.
