RA NATIONAL ASSEMBLY SPEAKER HOVIK ABRAHAMYAN PARTICIPATES IN THE OPENING OF THE EXHIBITION DEDICATED TO THE 95TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

The Speaker of the RA National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan on April
20 took part in the Painters' Union of Armenia in the opening of the
exhibition dedicated to the 95th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.
The Chairman of the Painters' Union Karen Aghamyan said that 250 works
from presented 600 were chosen for exhibition. The state will get some
of them for adding to the funds of the National Gallery of Armenia.
The Head of the Armenian Parliament accompanied by the Minister of
Culture and the Chairman of the Painters' Union got familiarized
with the works of the artists of Armenia and Diaspora concerning the
Genocide, which was perpetrated towards Armenians in Ottoman Turkey
in 1915.
Artists, art amateurs, public and political figures attended the
opening of the exhibition.
